The garden had pre-existing raised curved brick planting beds, an artificial lawn and a garden studio; the client wished to keep these elements but completely update the planting and screen the studio with pleached trees. A contemporary planting plan of mounded evergreen shrubs and clipped Yew balls was chosen, including Daphne, Choisya, Skimmia, Viburnum and Pittosporum tobira. Roses and white Hydrangea provide summer accents around the borders, whilst a combination of evergreen and deciduous perennials compliment and soften the scheme. Pleached Hornbeam trees provide screening to the garden studio.
